"Winged Tales II"
This vertical piece; “winged tales II” is actually a two-part counterpart picture with ‘winged tales 1’. It is inspired basically by the beauty and colors of nature, especially the butterfly wings; the two pictures is actually a blown up abstraction of a butterfly wing, with its assortment of delicate and intricate lines and array of captivating carefully planned out natural color schemes. I liken them to a beautiful and colorful storybook executed in semi-abstract rendition; and embellished with varied motifs ranging from simple interplay & crises-crossing of lines to textured surfaces.
The segmentation with various lines-vertical, horizontal and diagonal, represents different chapters and pages in a story; hence the title “winged tales”.
